Celadon Road Giveaway!

If you have spent much time researching the foods you eat, you have probably also invested time learning about how the things you put on your body can affect your health as much as what you put in it.  I have experimented with all kinds of homemade cleaning, beauty and personal care items.  Today’s giveaway puts all of these things and more right at your fingertips!

Celadon Road is committed to creating products for green, healthy, socially responsible living.  The home-based business company allows for online shopping options, as well as home party shopping experiences.  Each time a party is hosted, the company plants a tree in the hostess’s name through Trees for the Future, and a pair of shoes is donated through Soles 4 Souls.

I was privileged to get to try out the Lavender Laundry Detergent, as well as the Green Alligator Baby Lotion and the All Room Cleanser.

I am an especially big fan of natural laundry detergents (I have been making my own for a couple of years now), as my son used to have chronic skin issues like eczema and dermatitis until I stopped using conventional detergents.  Celadon Road’s Laundry Detergents were “originally created to ease the suffering of a child with eczema aggravated by commercial laundry products.”  I can appreciate that!  With only 6 ingredients (the unscented has only 5), this laundry detergent can be taken at face value.  I love not wondering what ingredients are or what kind of chemicals might be in the products I buy.

The detergent worked well for baby’s cloth diapers, and it completely cloth diaper safe.  The lavender scent was light and fresh as I scooped it into the washing machine, although, like all natural detergents, the smell does not transfer to the laundry itself.  Plus, a container will last a while, as (for a HE washer) one container is enough for 64 loads (32 for regular machines)- at $10, this detergent is less expensive than many other natural detergents I’ve seen at the store.

The lotion was light and fresh, and I had no problem putting it on my children.  Likewise, the All Room Cleanser was pleasantly light, with no chemical smells as I scrubbed my sink with it 😉

For today’s giveaway, one winner will win a full-size Celadon Road Lavender Laundry Detergent!  To enter, go to the Celadon Road shopping site.  Comment below to let me know which product you are most interested in and why you’d like to try it.

  1. Actually, I would love to try out the detergent. I have a son who has all sorts of awful skin … looks and sounds (and smelllllls!!) wonderful.

  2. The lavender detergent sounds heavenly. I love lavender.
I checked out the site and I really like the Chef’s Towels for the kitchen. I go through towels like crazy when I have tons of veggies and fruits to wash. The claim “ten times its weight in liquid” sounds super appealing!

  3. I would love to try the Egyptian Geranium with Adzuki Bean & Cranberry Facial Scrub.
I work in a warehouse with no A/C and you get so grimy!

  4. The Citrus All Purpose Cleaner Concentrate is something I would like to try. I have a 11 month old baby and the power of citrus to clean the house is easy, safe and effective!
